September is Animal Pain Awareness Month
Pet pain is a subject we have strong feelings about. After all, the reason Healthy Hemp Pet Company exists is to help loving pet owners manage and treat a variety of pet conditions, including pain.
Pet pain comes in many forms: surgery related pain, arthritis, cancer, just to name a few. Acute pain is easier to spot, while chronic pain can often be subtle and attributed to our pets getting older and slowing down. Aging isn’t a disease, but pain is. There are numerous options for treating pet pain, including pharmaceutics, acupuncture, physical rehabilitation, and our favorite natural pain remedy: hemp oil.
Pets suffer from pain just like we do, unfortunately they can’t vocalize pain in a way we do. That’s why it’s up to us to watch closely for any signs of pain in our furry friends.
